‘A Grade’ Larch

We use ‘A Grade’ Larch for our charred timber cladding. Larch wood is valued for its tough, waterproof and durable/long lasting qualities. This top quality timber is in great demand for building yachts and other small boats, for exterior cladding of buildings, and interior panelling. The timber is resistant to rot even when in contact with the ground.

This tough timber also lends itself very well to the charring process; its dense quality can endure the extreme heat of our furnaces and also creates a durable charred surface. The charring, along with our special coatings, adds substantially to this already long lasting woods’ natural lifespan.
